Privacy Statement

Your Privacy Matters at JMCC

At the John McGivney Children’s Centre (JMCC), we take your privacy very seriously. We do everything we can to keep your personal health information safe and private.
We follow the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) — that’s a law in Ontario that protects your health information and tells us how to keep it safe.

This means:

  • We only collect the health information we need to give you the best care.
  • We explain why we’re collecting it and how we will use it.
  • We don’t share your information with others unless you say it’s okay – or the law says we have to.
  • Only people who need the information to help you can see it.
  • We use strong safety tools and rules to protect your information.

You and your family have a right to:

  • See your own health information
  • Ask us to fix anything that’s wrong or missing.
  • Learn how your information is used and protected.

If you have questions or worries about your privacy, just ask us—we’re here to help.
